Greetings!
It was quite a process this month, with some complicated articles, and I hope you will be pleased with the result.
My own favorite is the Schleswig-Holstein Fabulous Firsts piece, in part because there was so much involved…scanning the text from our oversized Mekeel’s Weekly, 1910 volume, reworking it for the article pages, then the search for images–and finding a 2022 Heinrich Kohler auction with over 200 lots from which I could choose. It added a couple of days to the schedule, but as far as I am concerned, it was worth it.
Skipping quickly through the rest, this month we finish the Victorian Canada study from the Stamp Specialist, and we bring back from the 1895 Mekeel’s a brief article on the New Haven Provisional, supplemented by our U.S. Reference Manual pages on that issue.
After that, we have part one of two on Landlocked Iraqi Kurdistan, Rich Pederson’s study of the 21¢ Prexie Postal History and a little nugget from our regular USSN series by Rudy de Mordaigle on Modern Varieties.
Enjoy!
